This bulletin contains comparisons between Queensland statistical divisions and covers a broad range of demographic characteristics. All data are sourced from the 2001 and 2006 Censuses of Population and Housing. For example: Just under half of the Queensland population resided in Brisbane. More than one in five persons in the North West identified themselves as Indigenous.
The Office of the Government Statistician is the Queensland Government's lead statistical agency, and regularly conducts surveys to collect official statistics. A summary of Survey Participant Information is provided for people who have been asked to participate in a statistical survey.
