OESR is responsible for providing policies and guidelines for access to and use of information, including spatial information, to support business activities of government, industry and the community.
Queensland Spatial Information Office (QSIO)
OESR is a member of the Queensland Spatial Information Council. QSIC is supported by OESR through the Queensland Spatial Information Office (QSIO), a business unit of OESR. In striving to achieve the QSIC business priorities, the QSIO facilitates the delivery of integrated solutions in tandem with Government agencies and the private sector.
Government Information Licensing Framework (GILF)
On behalf of the Queensland Government, the Office of Economic and Statistical Research (OESR) in Queensland Treasury is trialling the implementation of the Government Information Licensing Framework (GILF) – a set of standardised licences that will make it easier for information users to understand what they can do with public sector copyright information, whether viewing, copying or making new products.Last reviewed: Jun 19, 2008, Last modified: Jun 19, 2008
