Statistical Liaison Networks

OESR maintains and promotes statistical liaison networks across the state, comprising representatives from all Queensland Government agencies, Local Government authorities, regional bodies, and the Commonwealth Government. The objective of these networks is to encourage member agencies to share knowledge and information on statistical issues, current and future projects, and research proposals and opportunities. 

There are currently nine Statistical Liaison Officer networks throughout Queensland, covering regions around Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Mount Isa, Mackay, Rockhampton, the Darling Downs and the Wide Bay-Burnett region. The networks meet four times a year (twice yearly in Mount Isa) and provide a regular forum for discussions on a wide range of topic areas.
